Imran Khan Niazi, born in 1952, is a retired Pakistani cricket player who has been a politician since the mid-1990s. He lead the Pakistani cricket team from 1971 to 1992, leading his team to their only World Cup victory in 1992. He is currently the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf political party, a small party of which he is the only member ever elected to Parliament.
